StackTerm is a desktop application. We collect as little data as possible and never sell your personal information.

What We Collect

• Email address — only if you purchase a license or contact support. Used to deliver your license key and respond to support requests.
• Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
• Contact form messages — your email and message content when you reach out through the support form.

What We Don't Collect

The StackTerm desktop app does not collect analytics, telemetry, usage data, or any information about your terminal sessions. Your commands, files, and project configurations stay on your machine.

Third-Party Services

• Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Resend — transactional email delivery for license keys and support replies.
• Cloudflare — DNS, CDN, and bot protection (Turnstile) for this website.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies for tracking or analytics. Cloudflare may set a security cookie for bot protection.

Data Retention

We retain your email and license information for as long as your license is active. Support messages are retained for up to 2 years. You can request deletion at any time by emailing [email protected].

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
